Element Hotel

Element Hotel is known for it’s cutting edge design and eco-friendly mechanical systems. As a LEED Certified Project, Martin Mechanical used the most energy efficient mechanical and plumbing design services. We designed a four pipe fan coil system and central heat recovery, which lowers the lifecycle cost of ownership for the client.

Minard Hall – North Dakota State University

Originally built in 1901, Minard Hall was in need of a remodel in 2009. We provided mechanical upgrades to the historic building and designed a more efficient system to get the most out of the building, with the least cost for the client.

Independence Elementary School

Independence Elementary was built in 2014, with a capacity of 570 students. The 10 – acre school area has a heating and cooling system designed by Martin Mechanical, including multiple air handling units with it’s own DX cooling unit.

Eventide Fargo

Eventide Senior Living in Fargo was built in 2016. It has a 96-unit care center and 76 senior living apartments with a movie theater, pub, fitness center and chapel. The mechanical systems allow for customizable heating and cooling; which ensures maximum comfort for residents.

Churchill Hall – North Dakota State University

First constructed in 1927, this residence hall was given a complete renovation in 2016. Churchill Hall had all mechanical systems upgraded, including new HVAC, heating and thermostats in each room.

Research 1 – North Dakota State University

Martin Mechanical was the primary designer of the 40,000 square foot lab addition. The research laboratory is located on the campus of NDSU and provided many energy efficient sequences which include variable volume airflow in the labs, heat recovery from the fume hoods, and fan wall technology for efficiency of equipment.

Mid America Steel

The Mid America Steel building in north Fargo was completed Fall 2018. The massive building occupies over 3 acres of land. Martin Mechanical was responsible for the mechanical and plumbing design in this building.

Holiday Inn Express

Holiday Inn Express is a 4-story, 110 room oasis with an indoor pool and lounge. The mechanical system for the hotel utilized a variable air volume system for the first floor common areas, and four pipe fan coils in the guestrooms. High efficiency boilers and an air cooled chiller were coupled with this equipment to provide heating and cooling.
