Legacy Sports Park

Mesa, AZ

Legacy Sports Park is 320-acre sports complex being built in Mesa, Arizona. We are working with ICON Architectural Group on this $250 million project that aims to finish construction in 2022. The complex includes:

• One 8,000-seat Multi-purpose Stadium

• 20 Sand Volleyball Courts

• 40 Pickleball Courts

• Six Sand Soccer fields

• Eight baseball/softball fields including one baseball/softball Stadium

• 50-acre special events area for concerts, festivals and events

• 62 volleyball courts including 1 Multi-purpose Arena

• 16 NBA basketball courts with 1 Multi-purpose Arena

• Six Olympic size Futsal Courts

• 75,0000 square-foot eSports Arena

• 50,000 square-foot Gymnastics, Cheer and Dance Center

• Youth Gym / Child Care Center

• 25,000 square-foot Sports Performance Center

• 25,000 square-foot General Fitness Center

• 20,000 square-foot Sports Bar and Restaurant

Moorhead High School Remodel and Addition

Moorhead, MN

Part of the $110 million bond referendum passed in 2019 includes the remodel and addition of Moorhead High School. The design has 400,000 square feet of new construction, which includes a larger academic space, gymnasium and fine arts area. The new layout will allow for more parking spaces and a more convenient door for students to enter.

Martin Mechanical Design collaborated on this project since the early stages and will continue to assist during construction in 2021.

North Dakota State University Indoor Practice Facility

Fargo, ND

The $37.2 million facility will be used for football, women's soccer, men's and women's golf, baseball, softball and men's and women's track and field. Additionally, the facility includes a separate weight room, locker rooms, sports medicine space, meeting locations and a recruiting area. Construction is planned to begin in the spring of 2021.

Village Cooperative Apartments

We teamed up with Real Estate Equities to work on several projects through the Village Cooperative Group in 2019-2020. The 55+ communities are designed to give residents the benefits of home-ownership without the struggles of maintaining the space themselves. The apartments contain individually controlled HVAC systems.

Bank Forward

West Fargo, North Dakota

Martin Mechanical Design was responsible for the mechanical design for the new Bank Forward location in West Fargo. The facility includes a large administrative area, meeting rooms and private offices.

This dual brand hotel project was named one of the "Best Real Estate Projects" of 2019. We worked with DesignCell Architects and Tharaldson Hospitality Management on this project.

Moorhead Area Public Schools Operation and Transportation Center

Moorhead, Minnesota

Moorhead Area Public Schools Operation and Transportation Center is a part of the $110 Million bond referendum passed in 2019. Our team worked closely with the school on this project, which includes a bus garage, administrative offices, meeting rooms, a kitchen and board room.

Mason City Multi-Purpose Arena

The Mason City Multi-Purpose Arena is a 52,500 square foot event center and ice arena which is part of the City’s downtown redevelopment project. ICON Architects were our partner on this project that was completed in 2019.

Heritage Middle School

West Fargo Public Schools is opening a new middle school in Horace, North Dakota. We designed the mechanical systems for the school, alongside YHR Partners, who was responsible for the architecture. The school will accommodate over 900 students and will open in the fall of 2020.
