Grand Forks Cities Area Transit Maintenance Facility and Administrative Offices

The CAT administrative, maintenance, and storage facility is a thirty-three year old facility that was in need of expansion to accommodate administrative and operational needs that have increased since it was first built. The facility houses 29 vehicles and 34 personnel at various times of the day. Mechanical and plumbing systems were completely replaced and new compressed air and lube oil systems were installed. The administrative areas are served by a new single duct VAV system with hot water reheat. Heating hot water is generated via a high efficiency gas fired boiler plant. In addition, the bus storage facility has been upgraded with code compliant ventilation air and air quality monitoring.
